IE Charity of the Year 2021: The Rhythm Studio Foundation

We are delighted to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2021 is The Rhythm Studio Foundation (RSF), a charity that provides valuable opportunities for economically underprivileged and socially disadvantaged young people.

In addition to funding scholarships for young musicians, they work with schools and community groups to provide opportunities to economically underprivileged and socially disadvantaged young people who have limited access to music-making.

RSF also have a hospital programme involving local paediatric wards making music with young people as well as providing respite for siblings and carers. RSF are currently providing virtual content for hospital patients and one-to-one lessons for young people with long-term medical problems who are shielding as a result of the pandemic.

RSF’s mission statement states:
“We believe that young people deserve the chance to transform or enrich their lives through music, whatever their background or their personal circumstances.”

By offering a creative outlet through music, RSF strive to support and empower young people who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. We are delighted to be supporting their work this year.
