Called to the Bar in 1986, Andrew quickly specialised in the music industry’s legal issues and has over 30 years experience working with music publishers, record companies and neighbouring rights agencies, including EMI, Virgin Records, Warner/Chappell and, most recently, serving as President of Fintage House Music, a Dutch owned music and film rights group of companies.
Andrew has extensive experience of managing commercial negotiations as well as resolving contentious and potentially litigious issues over a wide range of music and entertainment related areas. He understands at a very detailed level the psychology of companies involved in disputes as well as the challenges of reaching a practical and worthwhile resolution in contentious situations.
Andrew is passionate about assisting companies and individuals avoid the uncertainties and resource-drain that disputes and litigation inevitably impose; he brings his many years of experience to bear navigating and resolving contentious matters optimally.
